EMPOWERED

EMPOWERED is a demand-led, employment-focussed, motivational training programme that has been designed to provide the soft skills component for organisations that already run other types of training, ensuring that the end-users are taught the skills that are essential to perform well at any job.  This new programme was based on learning from the STRIVE programme, and was from the outset designed with the needs of employers in mind.

The programme can either stand-alone or in conjunction with job specific skills training; it is flexible and can be customised for specific vacancies.  It can be used in educational or other establishments as the attitudinal/motivational element of a work-readiness programme or it can be used as part of a wage-growth programme.  It can also be used as a pre-screening process, for employers, for any bulk vacancies they have or used post-recruitment by them as part of their induction process.  Finally, it can be used as a booster for clients who have been on other programmes and not found work or for people already in work who may need re-energising.

EMPOWERED focuses on essential employment skills in an action packed two days that include:

• Punctuality
• Responsibility
• Motivation

EMPOWERED can be customised for specific vacancies including customer service, leisure and hospitality, retail and construction and has been designed to be ancillary to existing provision, not replace it.  EMPOWERED can be acquired on licence, so that your own trainers can deliver it at your convenience.  Alternatively, LEAP’s trainers can manage and deliver sessions for you.
